The Process

To find the perfect solution for you, we will take you through a simple process of planning, building, execution, and review. Our goal is to make this process as easy as possible while fostering creativity and flexibility. We can conduct each phase of the process in person, over the phone, or through email. We believe detailed communication is a key throughout each step of the process and we will do our best to ensure all of your questions are answered.

Planning

During this first phase of the process, our goal is to get to know you and discuss your ideas and needs in order to see your vision for the project. This step is important because we begin to share your passion and excitement to turn this vision into reality. Once we can see your vision, we can bring our experience to the table to find the best possible means of translating your vision into a tangible plan.

Building

This is the phase where we collect the ideas and plans from the planning phase and begin to build a solution around them. The majority of labor takes place during this phase as we build the bulk of your solution. It is our goal to keep you directly involved throughout this step in order to maintain direction and satisfaction. This is where you begin to see your vision take shape in tangible forms as we send you previews and progress reports. At the end of this phase we put your solution through tests, make any final changes and adjustments, fix bugs, and prepare it for the execution phase.

Execution

The execution or launch phase is where your solution is simply put into action. We will coordinate with you to specify a specific date and time that your solution will be put into service. At the specified date and time we will run any last tests and immediately flip the switch. Once your solution is up and running, we will perform checks to ensure everything is functioning properly and running as it should. Throughout this phase we will keep you informed of every action we perform and give you progress updates on every aspect of the launch.

Depending on your preference, and the type of project, this phase can be broken into multiple stages for testing and community feedback. For example, many websites are first launched to a limited group of users to generate feedback on various aspects of the website, and then a revised version of the website is released to the public. Although this is normally done with larger websites, we can certainly customize the execution phase to fit your needs and deadlines.

Review

This is the final step of the process where we reflect back on the overall project, assess the final product, and initiate any additional maintenance or development plans for the future. During this phase we will deliver any content, documentation, intellectual property, and materials as defined in the contract. Our goal in the long run is to be at your service as long as you need us, whether that means continual maintenance, future development, or simply being there for questions and support.
